- Choose your role: play as a Survivor to escape or as a Hunter to eliminate, then complete the tutorial to learn core mechanics. - As a Survivor, coordinate to decode five cipher machines, open the exit gates, and escape before time runs out. - Kite the Hunter using pallets, windows, and character skills; rescue teammates from Rocket Chairs and heal to keep the team alive. - As a Hunter, patrol cipher routes, track sound and footprints, down Survivors with precise hits, and send them to Rocket Chairs to secure eliminations. - Build Personas and select characters that fit roles like decoder, rescuer, supporter, or chaser to counter enemy strategies. - Communicate with quick messages, learn map layouts, and unlock new characters and cosmetics through events, ranked play, and daily tasks.
